The Psychological Assessment Centre (TPAC) was formed in 1995 but the principal
psychologist and director, Debbie Anderson, has been practising in
Brisbane since 1989. The other director, Tony Grima, has an
administrative and computing background.
Our core business is neuropsychology which involves
assessing patients with cognitive impairment. This may be caused by
a car accident, an injury at work, a medical condition or normal ageing.
A growing area of our business is career assessment.
The objective is to help people discover a career that will make them happy to maximise their
chances of success and fulfilment. It is a great service for students deciding on a
career path, people wanting to change their career or for people wanting to
return to the workforce after an extended absence.
Using similar techniques to those employed to match individuals with their ideal careers,
we can help employers find the best candidates from the horde of applicants applying for a
job vacancy. We do not necessarily provide this
recruitment service to all industries, only those where personality is of
paramount importance. For example security related positions such as
prison guards or police.
